Sky Bridges: safe lanes and gap locations
Where the four left-lane gaps are, which lanes are always safe, and the obstacles on the stretches between the bridges.
Sky Bridges is stage 2 of the browser campaign and the first stage that asks you to choose between safety and rings. It is also the stage that unlocks Ring Magnet, so it is worth understanding before you push for its ring target.
The short version
- The centre and right lanes never have gaps. A run that stays there cannot fall off the bridge.
- The left lane has denser ring trails and four missing sections: 208–212 m, 304–308 m, 688–692 m and 800–804 m.
- Falling into a gap ends the run immediately, even if you still have shields. Dash does not carry you across.
- Finishing the stage — with any number of stars — unlocks Magnet Meadows and Ring Magnet.

Course layout
The stage is 1,024 metres long. Two elevated bridge sections run from about 160 to 384 m and from 640 to 864 m. The stretches before, between and after them are solid ground with ordinary obstacles.
| Distance | What is there | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| 110 m | Gate blocking left and centre | Be in the right lane |
| ≈160–384 m | First bridge section | Centre or right is gap-free |
| 208–212 m | Left-lane gap | Jump from the yellow strip or avoid the lane |
| 304–308 m | Left-lane gap | As above |
| 470 m | Centre-lane roll obstacle | Roll, or move to a clear lane |
| 570 m | Gate blocking left and centre | Be in the right lane |
| ≈640–864 m | Second bridge section | Centre or right is gap-free |
| 688–692 m | Left-lane gap | Jump or avoid |
| 800–804 m | Left-lane gap | Jump or avoid |
| ≈950 m | Centre-lane jump obstacle | Jump, or move to a clear lane |
The distances are where each obstacle or gap sits on the course, not the moment to press a key. Start your lane change or jump a little before the listed distance.
Reading the gaps
Each gap in the left lane is marked by a yellow strip on the boards just before it. That strip is the take-off area: if you are committed to the left lane, jump there. If you are not sure you can time it, move to the centre lane before the strip comes into view.

Gaps follow different rules from ordinary obstacles. Hitting a gate or barrier costs one shield and up to ten rings; falling through a gap ends the attempt on the spot. Dash breaks through ordinary obstacles, but it gives you less time to react on a bridge and cannot replace missing boards.
Two ways to play it
First run: unlock Ring Magnet
Stay in the centre or right lane on both bridges. Move right before the gates at 110 and 570 m, roll or sidestep the centre obstacle at 470 m, and jump or sidestep near 950 m. Reaching the finish is enough to unlock the next stage and Ring Magnet.
Return run: the 130-ring star
The bonus ring star needs at least 130 rings in hand at the finish — the stage holds over 400, but many sit on the left lane. A practical approach is to collect the left-lane trails on the solid stretches and on the parts of each bridge you can read clearly, then move across before each yellow strip unless you are confident of the jump. Avoid ordinary hits late in the run: each one can cost up to ten rings, and the target is checked at the finish.
Practice
Sky Bridges is available in Practice mode, so you can rehearse the left-lane jumps without risking campaign progress. Practice runs do not award stars or unlock Ring Magnet; finish the campaign stage to keep the reward.
